Position Description:
The Innovations in Care Development Liaison is a national director level position that will serve a critical function across departments within MDA to identify and set into motion development opportunities to support MDA’s mission. The Development Liaison will serve as a leader in the Innovations in Care team.


Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain program briefs and impact sheets
• Lead collaborative efforts across the organization with regard to increasing development opportunities for MDA Innovations programs
• Collaborate across MDA, specifically with Innovations in Science, Care & Clinical Services, Resource Center, Program Development, Community Engagement/Development, Health Care Partnerships, Medical Education, and Marketing and Communications in carrying out job duties
• Establish and lead regular team coordinating activities/meetings
• Develop presentations and maintain impact metrics
• Develop and execute monthly reports
• Leverage technology and platforms to generate impact metrics
• Identify novel and innovative approaches for partners and sponsors to engage
• Monitor the external environment for development trends and opportunities
• Manage and collaborate with regard to relationships with key external stakeholders
• Leads collaboration process between MDA field and national care and development teams including establishing regular leadership meetings across teams
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• 3+ years experience in clinical settings or significant professional education/training regarding clinical environments; prior experience with or understanding of non-profit development environment a plus
• Demonstrated success in managing projects and teams
• 3+ years management experience
• Coalition engagement and/or coalition building experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop impactful presentations
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize among multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to turn around work product swiftly and with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Exceptional computer and technical skills (including Microsoft office suite)
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Financial Force
